brake button maintenance?

Just wondering if there is any cleaning or maintenance for floating rotor buttons connecting the rotor to the carrier. Are they supposed to spin or move?

There should be no maintenance required for the floating rotor buttons on the disc carrier. The majority of the OEM setups do not spin or move easily when attempted by hand (many race setups do, however); the main purpose is to allow the disc to expand/contract with heat buildup, and the heat generated in street (and most track day) riding doesn't approach the levels that the looser race setups usually require.
