I assume you are a new rider as you are asking for advice on which bike you should buy. If not, I apologize.
I recommend reading the New Rider section of the forum, there's a lot of information there to help in making a decision on a first bike. With that said, start with a 250cc as a first bike. Forget the 1000cc bikes, way too much for a new rider.

In fact, you should read the next-to-last post on this page of the "New Riders Please Read This" thread by neuro0803 for those who think it's fine to start on a 1000...
