After reading about the new airbag suits from AlpineStar and Dainese and from a horse rider about a tethered airbag vest, I did some research about such a vest for motorcycle riders and came across a line of tethered airbag vests by Hit-Air.  The pros and cons that I can see:

PRO:
- relatively affordable (when compared to the airbag suits)
- neck vest appears to provide good neck protection (I not concerned about torso protection as I always wear a ForceField torso protector)
- reusable
- can be changed from one riding gear to the other (eg summer and winter)

CON:
- tether (risk of forgetting to untether when dismounting the bike)
- possible delayed deployment, especially during a lowside)
- additional bulk

Does anybody have any experience with these airbag vests.  How about SportRider doing a review/test of such vests.
