Hey Guys,

It's time to replace the chain and sprockets on the bike and was thinking about going with a 14 tooth on the front and stock on the back.  Anyone else tried this before?  What is your opinion of the mod?

2003 Suzuki Bandit 600

D&D header, pipe, and muffler.  No other engine mods.

Thanks!

Going from a 15-tooth countershaft sprocket to a 14-tooth will gain you a modest increase in acceleration at the expense of highway cruising rpm (it will be revving higher at the same speeds) and fuel mileage.
