 this will be my first bike purchase. but i know dealers are like sharks when they smell fresh blood in the water, especially if they have no idea what is a good price. any ways i did my research by looking on-line at prices and called up almost 6-8 dealers and the best i found so far is $11,300 Out the door price for a 2011 honda cbr 6 red and $11,400 out the door price for a honda cbr 6 black... i might get the bike tomorrow dipending on what you guys have to say... PLEASE tell me if this good or i should find a lower price? ps new bikes not used.

Honda's website has the price listed as $11,199 for a 2011 and $11,540 for a 2012 model. It sounds to me like you would be getting an okay deal with that OTD price but I'll bet there is still a little room for bargaining.
