when reading the lastest issue...the review of the new MV F4 RR...i read about what a great slipper clutch it had, mading itself known by the "trademark click of the clutch lever" on down shifts. Does this "click" happen with all slipper clutches? I recently bought and installed a STM slipper clutch on my 05 gsxr600 track bike, and it has the "trademark click of the clutch lever" feeling. I've been thinking something is wrong  Can anyone shed some light on this subject?? And how come my 08 gsxr750(factory slipper) doesnt have this click at the clutch lever?

It depends on the stiffness of the ramp springs (back torque causes the clutch basket to slide up a ramp, which opens up the clutch plates to let them slip). The older Suzukis had fairly stiff springs which didn't give much; the newer clutches move pretty easily to let the basket slide, which causes the "click" in the lever.

I had a STM slipper clutch installed in my 09 848. It had the "click" when it was new, but after 8000 miles, I dont notice the click any more. Does this mean there is something wrong with the clutch?

As long as the clutch seems to be working properly, shouldn't be a problem. That you aren't noticing the feedback through the clutch lever anymore could be due to any number of things.
