Bandit 1200S with soft brakes

I switched from the OEM rubber lines to stainless steel Galfer lines on my 2002 Bandit 1200S, at the same time I rebuilt both calipers and the master cylinder and replaced the pads. I filled the system with DOT4 brake fluid and flushed the air out with a Mighty Vac bleeder and tried bleeding from the master cylinder banjo bolt but the lever still comes a lot closer to the grip than with the OEM lines. I have the lever dial adjusted all the way out. Is there some trick to bleeding my front brakes now that there are seperate lines running from the master cylinder to each caliper and not one line going from the master cylinder to a joint and then down to the calipers?

Whenever you completely rebuild the calipers, it becomes very easy for air bubbles to be trapped inside, as they tend to hang up on the slightest nook and cranny. You should try bleeding at the caliper banjo bolts a few times, as air tends to get trapped there often. Try gently tapping on the calipers at various spots with a small hammer to loosen any bubbles. Be sure to wrap a rag around the general area (completely enclosing it so nothing squirts out), build up some pressure, and loosen the banjo bolt carefully.
