I have followed WSB, MotoGp and AMA very closely this year. Despite the problems that the AMA had this year the racing turned out to be exciting and close.
The final telecast of the event turned out to be very good and the quality of the riding was excellent with frequent position changes and last minute twists of fate for the the top two riders in the points.
It would have been even more intriguing if events had not been cancelled.
I find that the AMA riders produce some great racing despite the administrative and managerial problems of the AMA itself. If the AMA ever get their act together maybe they could finally live up to the potential that the racers provide for the sport in the US.
WSB and Motogp may be a higher level of racing but the AMA racers sure know how to put on a good show.
Ride Proud, Ride Safe, Have Fun.

Agreed, the racing was excellent in nearly all classes at every event. The problem now is the economy; many teams are struggling to find sponsorship, and there are a lot of talented riders out there who will be left out in the cold because they don't have personal sponsorships. Especially in superbike.
