I read today Erik Buell Racing just released his new 1190RS superbike. It's amazing what he can do without HD. $40K for this Street version. I wonder if they will offer a more affordable version, and when?

Some more info on the Erik Buell Racing 1190 RS street bike - it will have a bored out Rotax power plant, Öhlins suspension front and rear, magnesium wheels, full carbon fiber fairing, titanium valves, high end rods and valve springs, Aim Sports dash, weighing in at 400 ibs wet and should give the high end Ducati some serious competition. Still, $40K is way out of the budget of most buyers. Hopefully he comes out with a less expensive version.

Dont get me started on what Harley "Dumitson" did to the American Sport bike. God bless Erik Buell and his dream to produce an American Sport Bike.  Rock on Erik.
