It looks like Casey Stoner might be the one to beat. He's doing very well in testing. Repsol Honda is working really well for him.
Anyone have their own predictions?

I think that Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi will be the top three this year with Ben Spies as a dark horse. If Rossi heals early enough in the season then he has a good chance win the championship. The bikes are so close in terms of power that it will come down to who is the best rider and who can stay healthy. It appears that the Ducati bikes still have a way to go in terms of suspension and set-up, but Rossi should be able to help Ducati to "get it right" as we move into the season.

I think it is much too early to make any solid predictions.
All of the current riders have the ability to take the championship. At this point, I think it could be anyone's game.
However, I would say that Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo and maybe Haden will be the riders to be watching.
Of course this is my opinion and we all know what people say about opinions.

The only thing I have to say is don't count Rossi out. Don't forget what he did when he went to Yamaha; took a inferior bike and won the championship.

Dani Pedrosa has the potential to do well if he can avoid major injury this season.

I'll go out on a limb here. The champion in 2011 will be on a Honda. I'm a Ducati owner and big fan of their bikes but I just think this will be the year for Honda.

I just did some quick reading on the MotoGP site. From what I can tell with Ducati is that they are in the midst of a software shake down and I bet once they get the bike and software dialed in these guys are going to be like bullets coming out of a 50cal sniper rifle and looking for a target to hit. Now if the riders can stay two wheels down and minimize bodily damage they should have a great season. Casey's ttest time looked really good. posting time of about 2 seconds ahead of Valie and Hayden.
