Definitely not the best choice. Not only will you be paying a lot of money to fix the bodywork (and any other components) the first time you drop it-- and the chances are very high you will-- but the racy riding position won't teach you about countersteering as much as a more standard positioned bike will. And you will need to learn about countersteering, and gain experience using it. Your insurance costs will also be greater than with a more appropriate motorcycle for your experience.
