I'm looking to buy some rear sets for my '09 CBR1000rr. I like the (pricey) Sato racing rear sets, but was wondering if someone has a favorite brand they are using and why. I'm sure this question has been posted before, but they are always making improvements so I thought I'd try to get an update. I'd like them to be adjustable, tough, and give me an aggressive position, providing the maximum amount of millimeters to the rear. I'll be riding track and street.

Have you looked at Attack Racing rearsets? We've had excellent experiences with all of their products. Very adjustable, tough build (without being "too tough"; if the assembly is too strong, a tipover can shred or severely tweak the frame tabs where the footpeg mounts attach).

Good advice on not being too strong, I would hate to damage the frame. I found a company called Attack Performance. I think they are the same as Attack Racing. The rear sets seem reasonably priced and have a nice options like break away pegs and high grade alloy. Thanks for the advice

Yep, that's the company, Attack Performance. Sorry, I keep on thinking of their former AMA racing effort as the Kawasaki factory support race team.

I recieved my new Rear Sets from Attack Performance last week and I am very pleased. They are really high-end components, using 7075 T6 aerospace grade aluminum alloy, making them extremely light weight with very high tensile strength. They utilize partial breakaway and quick change pegs, eliminating the removal of the entire rear set for replacement. As I will be riding street as well as track, I will need the rear brakelight to work too. So I ordered an inexpensive switch from AP to hook up the rear light. Anyone looking for Rear sets, take a look at Attack Performance, a great value and exceptional quality.
