What is the best way to store and transport a one piece full racing suit?  Sport Rider editors travel all over the world sampling the latest, greatest the motorcycle industry has to offer, You must have to drag along your riding gear.  As well you must have to store your collection at home too.  I would prefer to not have to leave my suit hang in a closet for months on end (No track days here from Oct-April) I would like to have it lay flat (not folded up) in a protective, breathable bag or box.  I would also like to have a full length bag protect to protect it to/from the track (probably that needs to breath as well due to sweat).

If you have any names of products/companies/web sites that would be very helpful

Thanks

As far as transport, a decent gearbag that has enough space to keep you from scrunching your leathers into a tiny space is fine. Even on long overseas flights, as long as your leathers have a chance to breathe (and don't get wet, which shouldn't happen in airline baggage compartments), you should be OK.

Actually, hanging in a closet for long-term storage is fine as well, as long as the closet is in an area of the home with moderate temps (not the cold, wet basement) and humidity. It will breathe better than if it is laying flat.

RS Taichi (scroll to the bottom of the page) offers a leathers bag, and I'm sure if you check with an authorized Dainese or other brand name leather manufacturer that they'd be able to set you up with one.
