ok...i got a 08 cbr1000rr and was thinking of puting my suspention to what the sport rider mag recomends. Its all fairly easy to do but have one question. Sport Rider mag says to set the ride height by setting the fork tube flush with triple tree.Ok...the fork tube has a top cap like thats on the clean top where the ajusters are. The tube itself is black and the very top has like a cap on it. should the entire tube be flush or should the tripe tree come flush to the end of the color part of the tube excluding that cap like thing ? Can any one help??

When it's stated "flush with the triple clamps", it means excluding the fork cap. Just the top of the fork tube should be level with the top of the triple clamp; not the 1-2mm of fork cap that sits on top of it.

That is what i wanted to hear !!! Thank you for replying to my post. My tubes are already flush so i guess i dont need to mess with that now. Hey if you knew that maybe you could answer one more question.....My bike feels like its heavy in the front. When i come into a turn it feels like the front is going to tuck on me. It acually did the other day witch scared me. What kind of adjustment should i try??? This bike only has 150 miles on it so not sure if it will break in more or should i go ahead and change something. My 07 felt lot more stable in the turns and its suspention was at factory settings. Thanks for helping me!

You should set your suspension to the settings recommended in our chart first to use as a starting point before trying to diagnose any perceived handling issues.
