So, buying my first sportbike . And thought "Why not get something a little more unique." So after reading some reviews and youtube-ing my ass off, Im almost sold on buying a 2009 Triumph 675. Does anyone have any experience with this bike. I want to here it all good and bad. Thanks.

How tall are you? The 675 Daytona has a fairly high seat height, which can spell trouble for newbies around town.

In the absence of a dedicated 750cc class, I hear it's a great alternative. Great exhaust note, great looking bike, IMO.

Im 6' but ive been riding a dual sport converted to a supermotard for 6 months so I dont think you can get a much higher seat than that. But anyone heard anything about the reliability of these bikes?

As long as you're not racing or continually running track days with them, they hold up well. Their build quality has come a long way from the old days (and by that, I mean when the company was resurrected by Bloor in the mid-90s).

Glad to come across this post. I have been looking for a bike for some time. I liked what I read here about this bike. This is the kind of information that you can't get from the company! Thanks to all of you, I think I have a made a decision. Remember to protect your melon with a good helmet.
