06 gxsr 1000 info, tips, advice...help

Fellow riders Im looking for your input. I recently bought the 2006 gsxr 1000 in mint condition and low miles. It has a yoshimura R22 exhaust, PCIII, chromed out swingarm and rims. Right now its in the shop getting dynoed(previous owner never got it mapped) and oil change. My previous bike was the Kawasaki 650R. Ive been riding off and on for many years. I know the 1000 is a super fast bike that is unforgiving. So, for those of you that own one, or something similiar Im asking you for some tips on riding this beast. For me already I know the steering isnt quite like that of my Kawi. I know it has great speed. Ive watched quite a few you tubes and notice many of these bikes coming off the ground in gear changes. Im going to take it easy for sure for a few months for sure, but gimme some heads up on controlling this bike, making good turns, and some good ways to keep this on the ground. Thanks in advance
