I guess it would depend on where and how you ride. The MV should out handle the busa on a winding road, but in a drag race, the busa should shine. Cagiva made the MV Agusta with a Suzuki motor when it 1st went into production, so it would not surprise me given the lighter weight and suspension parts; that your MV would be faster than the busa.
I would love to see the numbers.

The F4 engine MV has used the past ten years has nothing to do with Suzuki. It was developed with Ferrari consultation -- thus the "F4" and radial valves.
As for speed out of the box, the MV F4 312R was noted by MV as going "312" km/hr (193 mph) on a track in Italy, thus the name, but no one knows anyone who has done this on their 312R.
With bends in the road the MV would leave the Busa. At Bonneville in stock form it would be close. Of course the Busa is 186mph limited, but the MV also has room until reaching the ceiling.

I hate to tell you this, but the basic block for the 1st Mv Agusta models were the same "block" as the GSXr with the radial valves and Cagiva's own gearing. ( Read your back issues) Suzuki has and still provides engines for several of Cagiva's motorcycle line up, the Raptor and the TL1000 currently share the same block. However Cagiva will be using the Hyosung engine in their new MITO 650 instead of the the Suzuki SV650 lump. Cagiva already uses the SV650 lump in their Raptor 650. I can see why Cagiva would want to get away from using the engine blocks and parts supplied by Suzuki as the deal with Suzuki had loads of restrictions on international sales. Hence, the lack of Raptors in the USA. Given the resent buy, by Harley Davidson, it will be interesting to see the new developments at Cagiva.
The Ducati shop I worked at also sold MV, so I have seen the Suzuki block in the frame of the older MV.
I do hawever agree with the rest of your post, on Track, a twisting reoad, gotta give it to the MV, in a drag race, should be close and I would love to see it.
