on my 1993 honda cbr 600 f-2 i cant figure out how to take the seat off or if it even comes off...i just bought it and i am new to riding maybe im just being dumb idk hahaha also when shifting it kinda goes into gear hard...you have to really pull it up for it to click into gear...any help is appreciated thanks

There are two bolts holding the seat on, one on each side underneath near where the passenger strap runs across the seat. You have to pull the sidecover panel off (it's held on by rubber grommets) to gain access to the bolt.

As for the difficult shifting:
1. Your clutch is way out of adjustment and is dragging.
2. Shift linkage is out of adjustment.
3. Shift drum problems.
