I'm just turning 18 in a couple of days and i decided that i want to buy a bike and get started.  What do i need to do to learn. My dad used to have a million bikes but stopped riding before i was born.  Also im looking at a 1995 CBR600 for my first bike.  I know everyone says dont get a 600cc bike but i also heard it was ok if it was really old.

First thing you need to do is enroll in the nearest MSF course: www.msf-usa.org

They will teach you good fundamental basic riding skills you'll need to get started.

As long as the '95 CBR600 is in good working condition (engine running smooth, fresh motor oil, tires/brakes in good condition), there should be no problem using that as your first bike.
