The article on the Norton was interesting. I heard they were working on an updated version. That Mr. Richards was involved is probably why I never got a reply from him concerning information needed for the NRS588 rotary racer that I am building from limited source parts. I also sent the original Certificate of Appreciation from Dan Macias' (former Triumph racing team manager) estate given to him by Johnny Allen for building the motor used in his Triumph streamliner that set the record at Bonneville to put in his museum. You would have thought a 'thanks' was deserved for that.

As a former N-V development engineer (I was at Marston Road from May 1967 to July 1968), I'm very pleased to see that people are keeping the Norton racing tradition alive.
My main projects were the Commando and AJS Stormer bikes. The rotary was a few years after I emigrated to the US.
At 67, I'm not an active rider any more - it's too damned dangerous around a community with a lot of retirees driving around in late 1970s Cadillacs!
