what should i get?

i am new to whole sport bike scene and i am thinking about saving up for a bike to use for riding around college and maybe going out with occasionally. i would be a new rider and i am wondering what would be the best bike for me to look into and save up for. i dont really have a ton of money to spend on one since i am on a tight budget, so i cant really spend a insane amount on a bike. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks for all your help

Depending on how tight the budget is, look at a used Ninja 250 or Ninja 500. Maybe even a Suzuki GS500. Also, look for used Suzuki SV650S and the naked SV650. Make sure you take the MSF course, or some type of rider skill course. They will help lower your insurance costs. You may want to look for older Super Sport bikes too. Anyway, good luck.
