My son tried to take the dirt road a talladaga GP and that didn't work so good. He bent lots of stuff including the shaft that comes out of the case. Now I have a leak and need to replace the shaft. I need all the help I can get. Thanks

The shifter shaft (25510-19F00 I think, about $50) normally slides out after removing the clutch. (I could be wrong, my manual is at work). If the end is badly bent you may need to cut it off to remove it. You'll probably need a new seal too (09283-14006, about $3)

Anytime you remove a shaft that has a seal exposed to dirt and grime like the shift shaft, you're much better off replacing the seal regardless, especially on an older bike.
