Are most sportbike gearboxes of dog box design?

Do most sportbikes today have dog box gearboxes? If so, why don't riders need to double clutch, which I thought was necessary to do with a dog box during everyday, non-WOT driving/riding?

I want to know why car manufacturers don't develop transmissions following the design of sportbike transmissions? Clutchless shifts could be performed, like on bikes, and the clutch could be used as well. What a wonderful situation! The new dual hydraulic clutch transmissions shift quick but sound like automatic transmissions when shifting at WOT. Bike shifts sound more like slower F1 shifts. That is just better! Nothing else ruins a perfect engine song than automatic shifting noise!

So why don't car manufacturers adopt sportbike transmission design? I'm sure measures could be made to handle extra vehicle weight and engine power...
