I have a 06 kawasaki zx6r and i have been looking for a exhaust for a while now but all of the ones i like are way out of my price range. My problem is that my bike is way too quiet and i have trouble with automobiles trying to hit me cuz they dont know im there. So i was wondering if taking out the baffle from my exhaust would be a good idea. I've heard that this would make it alot louder. Also any tips on how to do this or if you have other suggestions they would be much appreciated!

I would recommend against it. If you take them out you will basically be making your muffler obsolete. It will be louder, annoyingly obnoxiously louder and once you take them out you can't put them back. So if you don't like it then you have no choice but to go to an aftermarket exhaust.

Loud pipes don't save lives. It is a myth. Cagers seldom pay attention while driving. Most are quite distracted while zipping along in their steel boxes. Try to avoid blind spots, make sure you are vigilante, and understand how to get out of trouble. The gas can be your friend as much as the brake. Scan for available paths through traffic as you go. I find it best to travel a little faster than the flow of traffic. hope this helps.

IMO loud pipes can save your life. When out in the rural areas they tend to make the criters run away.
