I recently purchased a TLR 1000 and I'm getting 120 miles to a tank full. It just seems kinda low to me does anyone know if this is right? I know the tank can only hold 4.5 gallons but it still seems low. any suggestions, ideas?

Geez, that doesn't seem good at all. I'd look at a few things and then see a dealer... how's it run? What do the plugs look like? Does gas drip from the drain tubes while sitting at a stop light or when revving it? Does it smoke black smoke?

I have a TLS, and the sounds right on the money believe it or not...... I get roughly 120-35 depending on the riding that week...(commute vs. fun). They claim these bikes are run very rich, and i would assume with a Power Commander and a wideband, you could probably tune fuel out to a safe 12.5 to 1 and pick up some serious mileage..... but have not tried, next summer maybe..

Is the 120 mile mark where you hit empty? Or is it were your reserve light goes on? When I sold Ducati and I use them as an example because they were really bad about doing this, we had to reset the sensor for the reserve light as some of the bikes would report they were out of gas after a little over 100 miles and be just a little under half a tank left.
Try this, to see what your mileage really is; When you fill up next, set your trip meter, do not touch it until you fill up again, divide the miles traveled by the amount of gas used. Right now it looks like your getting 26.7 mpg (rounded up). This seems low to me, but I have never ridden the TLR 1000. Also just look into your tank, you should be able to see some gas left when you go in to fill up, as long as your not runing her dry each time you ride. If it looks like you have a bout a half a tank left over, have your shop check the switch for your reserve light.
I am on a Ducati 996, same tank size, and I get 45+ mpg on average, on commute and fun rides.
