Just wanna share some info about tires. The rubber used to make tires is only considered good and safe for about 6 years. More numbers to look at when we by tires yay They have a born on date like a beer in the DOT number. The very last number section in the dot number will read something like 41 /02 this means the tire was made in week 41 year of 02. before 2000 you may get a single number like 41 /9 that means 99 and a 6 would be 96 ans so on. so anything made before 02 is not good and considered not safe and if you still want to buy it bring this up and i bet you get a smoking deal or the pull the tire from the shelf. ride safe

Yeah, they had a big problem with this around my area with car tires. A lot of business screwing customers and selling bad tires. I guess the customer should check these things out first, but what kind of business watches out for the consumer anymore? Anyways, if you're around NE and needing tires for anything, make sure to check them out carefully.

get a harder compound like a touring tire. What are you using now? I got like 2300 miles out of my last battle axe rear. also i think it is just the nature of the beast scooters are even worse. you sacrofice performance for longevity.

i've got battle axe rear and front, i swear they just melted down!!! i live in phoenix, do you think the heat could be a problem? wait it was winter more than summer while i was rolling these tires! But i would have to say that my riding styles have changed since i got them. they were brand new on a bike i bought off my friends mechanic and its my first bike. so it changed from begining rider, slow wheel turning turns, to alot better but still minimal expierience rider, taking most turns on the lean. and my wear pattern is in the middle, so could that be a big difference? i'm looking at Metzler Roadtech Z6's, what do you thing about them? or Metzler in general?

oh and i got a 1991 Suzuki GSXR750 Katana. 110/80/17 front and 150/70/17 Rear. Should i change it up and go bigger or smaller in one or the other. what impact does changing tire and wheel size do?
