The reason that i bought my zzr600 is simply because it was the most comfortable bike I sat on. Out of all the bikes I sat on from dealer to dealer the zzr600 was the most comfortable. Asides from that, the price was great and it was all black. I love all black bikes. They shine like a pearl to me. yeah yeah I know pearls are white but black bikes are my pearl! So for all you out there, there is my reason whats yours ? And what bike do you have

I have a gixxer 1000k2, Because its perfect. It has all kinds of power everywere and as much torque as most large v-twins. Dynoed at 74.6 lbs/ft at rear wheel. Pulls like you want out of every corner. And most of all it looks Perfect.

I bought my Kawasaki Ninja 1000R (10/06) because it was Speed Champ in 1985-86, and was the Bike I would have bought new in '85 had I not quit riding.  Not only is this Bike still Wicked Fast, it looks like it is 'Haul'en' while just parked, and with the Proformance Upgrades I have done to it she has no trouble hang'in with her Modern Cousins.  Today, no one knows what it is, and can't beleive that it is over 20 years old!  I have considered getting a 'New' Bike, but having looked them all over, 'Old' is Better in my opinion.  Heavy, Solid, and still Fast Enough!

I suppose the single most reason I got my 9r was because of the price.  It was already on my short list of bikes I wanted, and with 1,998 miles on the odometer and a price tag of $5000 it was too good to pass up.  I love the fact that it handles like its on rails in corners, good power (although way down by today’s standards), and for all the years I’ve had it and all the bike nights I’ve been to I’ve only seen 1 with the same color scheme as mine.

I have a 2004 cb 600f, or a honda 599 or a hornet. Whatever you want to call it. I love this bike cause it is the perfect bike for around town (in my opinion). It's light, super comfortable and has a great proven engine (of a 90's cbr 600 f3). Also I think it's cool looking and I have got it looking quite original. Also I just like the look of naked bikes more. Sometimes I yearn for a bike with more torque and overall power but it is plenty fast for around town. Also, I like how you can open it up more often without killing yourself or breaking the speed limit too badly. I plan on having it for a long time.

I bought a 2007 gsxr 1000, I always loved that bike, and the color combo was great, orange and black. The price was too good to pass, I knew the kid who had it before me, and he literally baby'd it too much. Almost no miles! Way too much bike for me, but I'm honing my skills on another bike for the time being and daily diver. And I always get great remarks from other riders, no matter what they are on.

Hey guys, I bought a 2007 December, ZX-14 Ninja Black. My first attraction for the bike was that its a Busa competitor & in most road tests, its taken the busa. However, I found the looks way better & most importantly the riding position was far more comfortable. Got Micron exhaust system put, so its sounds insane. Love the inline-4 firing. The ZX14 handles like a 600cc bike, it feels so light & easy to handle, not the case with the Busa. Plus the most important part was that 90% of people have the Busa here, so what better bike than the ZX14 to keep away from the usual hoard of Busas around.
Cheers!!

The look of new R6's got me hooked.  I like the look for the R6 better than the CBR, even though I have great things about Honda.  However, I got a brand new 2007 R6 a couple months back for less than $7500 out the door.  Hard to complain about that deal.

Next bike may just be the CBR 600, but I am happy on the R6 right now.

the reason i bought the 07' 600rr is mainly because of the electronic steering dampener and ergos.....very comfortable 4 a 6ft. 200lb. rider.  not to mention the motor rips stock and the all black is so eye catching when i was looking at the 4 manufacturers.  next in line would be the 2008 gsxr 600............

I've got an '05 SV1000S that I bought new.

The main reasons that I bought it were that it would be comfortable on long trips (I annually do two to three thousand miles routes), looked unique, good power (great torque, though down on hp compared to the 4cyl liter bikes), and cost less than a 600cc 4cyl (I also got $1,500 off).

I traded my old Ducati Monster in for a 2007 Triumph Speed Triple.

The reason ?

The OOOMPH

oh and the noise
and the grunt
and the handling
and the brakes
and the comfort (relative to a Monster)

^ how is the Triple mate??? I had a choice for a triple & zx14. went in for the zx14 but the speed triple naked look still gets me goin. I know its not so fast as the zx14 monster, but hey unless u r a racer, that shouldnt matter on the streets

I bought a 07 Suzuki SV650s. I like the sharper kinda shapes on bikes. This one had a bit of that and also had an awesome price tag. Got it for 6k out the door, 0.0 miles on it.
It's a nice metallic blue paint job. Feels comfy and is a great starter bike. It just looked better than its competitors in the other brands. I got the lower cowelings for it as well... and it looks even better.

What I want is a '07 CBR 1000RR Red/Black. That's my dream bike. Next in line is the '07 CBR 600RR with the metallic blue. The '08 CBR's new designs kinda blow in my opinion. I hope there '09's look better cause I'll be about ready to buy around that time.

I acutally have both a speed triple and a zx-14. Both are phenominal amazing bikes. Gotta say though that for me the zx-14 is just about the most perfect bike I have ever owned, it dots the 'I' an crosses the 'T' better than anything I have had the pleasure of riding. Leaving it's bottomless well of power aside ('cos its easy to hype the speed and power and I believe motorcyles should offer more than that) the ergos, the wind protection, the pillion friendliness, the handling, the comfort, it's a phenominal missile AND a phenominal cruiser. Great about town, great going down the interstate, very respectable on the twisty bits, If you want one "do it all sportbike" you can choose no finer example IMO.

Also,I love naked bikes but distance riding on the open road is not the speed triples forte. Neither bike will leave you wanting for power, the speed triple will leave you grinning like a schoolboy and laughing out loud which is why you had better keep your helmet on, else others will think you are a crazy man. Well respected globally, the 'perfect' engine, raw badass battle-ready looks, not a pretender and a great motorbike!

I could get detailed but dont want to ramble but I assure you that both are phenominal bikes, no owners remorse to be had at all and if I had to do it again, I'd choose both of them again.

BTW..one bike is never enough

"Love at 1st Sight"  I was there when we un-crated my 996.  When we finished the prep and I gave it the 1st test run before she was to go on the floor, I traded my 1100xx.  I was going to buy the shops Demo St4 as it was the bike I found myself using it every time I went out with my customers on a test ride.  Then I rode my 996, and fell in love.
