DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GREAT ROADS IN HAMPTON,VA?

I'm fairly new to riding but I absolutely love it.  I was wondering if anyone knew of great roads in the Hampton,Va area.  I'm not really a speed guy, I don't care about booking it in a straight line down some highway (though I have... stupid) but I want somewhere I can go where I can carve out some corners and not have to dogde the minivans which seem out to get me.  

Hey everyone, I just got a 2008 Ninja 250r about a month ago. I think i might need to upgrade already.HHHeeee Being a girl, I didnt thing riding was going to be so cool. It's not fast enough for me. Oh,Does anyone know anything about the recall warning for the break hose leaking? I am very new to riding and dont what to overreact.

I live in Hampton also and usually ride with a few friends through Surry Va over the JRB. Lots of open road.  

wats up, i live n hampton,va as well. ive been riding for almost 7 months now. i like the roads heading to emporia (route 58) going towards i-95, they're real smooth and has some curves. also its a quick nice curvey road on butler farm road  that will take you from magruder to bethel, like i said, its a short road but its fun. there are also nice roads going down route 17 towards gloucester and crossing the coleman bridge heading north towards maryland, there're hilly and curvey, bad part is havn to pay toll to cross the bridge. anywayz hav fun and b safe, hit me up if u lookn for people to ride out wit  

I'm pretty new to riding also, i live in western north carolina and one of my favorite spots is the Blue Ridge Parkway it goes up to Roanoke, i realize its a bit out of your way but if you ever get the chance to ride it you won't be disappointed. Nice smooth curves with occassional straights also no gravel nowhere. The brake hose recall was not for a leak. There is a bracket to keep the hose from rubbing the tire. As far as the bike being to slow, I think you are getting over confident. If you think you need to go faster take the bike to a track day and see how fast the bike is. Unless you want to do long straight aways at over 100MPH, the 250 will go faster around any corner than any other bike.  

Thanks tj, I've been on that road near butler farm many times.  I'm definitely going to check out route 17 though.  If you live in hampton I've sure we've seen each other at some time in the past year.  What do you ride?  

I did read that article and I plan to take a ride up there on the parkway this summer.  I just have to figure out a way to sneak out without the wife knowing I'm gone
