They are all good bikes. Ofcourse the 636 is going to be one of the quickest. kawasaki replaced there 750 with it.And is one of a select few that can pull a power wheelie in that class. Way better power to weight on the kawi.Honda had the sweetest looking 600 RR. And top the scale in reliabilty, I know they really changed the body on the 1000 and i think messed with the nose on the 600 also bolth bad moves if you ask me. I would be curious to see there sales charts over the previous year. Yahmaha as far i can remember is slow to keep up on all the goodies such as ram air, slipper clutch, duel stage injection and so on. so if you going yamaha make sure your getting everything you get with the other bikes. Gxsr is another known performer. the best advice i have would be to try and find a hold over 2007 cbr 600 RR or buy a new kawi or gxsr. good luck lets us know what you do

I had a gsxr 600 new in 2007. After about 7400 miles on her I put it on the dyno (still bone stock) and it pulled an average of 103hp at 2.814hp per cubic INCH, not cc. I rode it pretty hard and never had any problems with anything on it. Multiple burnouts to abuse it and learning wheelies as well. Wheelies were hard on that bike. Low seat height. I think it was around 32inches for the inseam and i'm 5'8. So it felt comfortable. Other people reacted to it well around my area anyways. Sold it to my best friend without any worries about it failing him at all. I know a girl who constantly drag races her 07 gsxr 600 and is still using the factory clutch. Good bike. Maybe that'll help ya.

i currently own the 07 cbr 600rr and have not one bad thing to say about it. from the incredible electronic steering dampner to the ripping motor, not to mention the suspension when dialed in. the brakes are strong and you get honda reliability. the bike holds a line precisely and welcomes mid corner adjustments if needed. from tight twisties to fast 100+ mph sweepers it rips with confidence...........love it! make sure you set your preload, (sag), frt and rr. and stiffen up the rebound at both ends, makes a world of difference on the honda. 220 w/gear 35mm up front, 30mm out back......1.5 turns out from full stiff, rebound front. 1 turn out from full stiff, rebound rear. great!

Hey guys.. I personally have the 07 gsxr 600 bc i got a sweet deal. For 2008's ---the track id grab the r6, for the street I'm a fan of the 600rr -the new black and orange scheme looks sick- Thats just my opinion. All of the bikes are right there, its just a preference of which fits you best. Unless you are a professional rider, you wont feel outpowered or out preformed by the other bike "you should have gotten". The rider makes the bike, the bike helps but doesnt make the rider. one more thought... if you are coming from a 250 just remember these are "supersport" bikes and not beginner bikes like im sure a local ignorant friend has said to you. Hope this helped a little. Ride safe.

I own an '07 R6 mainly because I bought it brand new for a sticker of $7300. I love it thus far, but haven't had a chance to open it up at all because I'm still in the break-in period. It's comfortable to ride for me and the handling is great.
But I really think you're just beating your head against the wall trying to find the best of these four bikes. They are all so similar that it really comes down to fit and appearance.
I personally really like the look of the R6, but I think my next bike may be a CBR 600RR. I've heard good things about that bike and it would have been my first preference this last go around, but it was hard to pass up on the price I paid for the R6.

go sit on all of them and find out which is comfortable for you. all of the 600r sportbikes are great, reliable, ease of maintenance, plenty of aftermarket parts beyond your imagination.judge them by your height, lenght of arms and leg, sitting position, foot peg levels. are you commuting to and from work, school, weekend mountain rides. if you really want to know which is the best and be picky about it, you better have the riding skill levels of AMA superbike champs like Matt Mladen or Ben Spies.
