I think that the REAL CBR "god" wouldn't have to ask that. He would already know.

You might want to be a little more specific regarding your bike, CBR could either mean 600 or 1000 and you dont mention what year. That being said, there was another thread on here where the general concensus was 2 Brothers makes the best pipes for CBRs, Yosh is a good bet as well. Another avenue you might persue is searching the web for a CBR owners forum, your more likely to encounter more knowledge specific to the bike, I am on an EX500 owners forum and the people there provide alot of info for the bike, there are some who just use it to commute and some who race em. That too might effect your choice of pipe, seems like most times all you get from a pipe and a jet kit is more top end, when for riding around town commuting haveing better low end throttle response will be more helpful

Although he didn't specify the year, he did mention it is a 600. The model would be nice to know though (ie. F4i, RR, F3).

okay, so now we know i cant read Still the point being, the more specific info regarding a bike, the easier it is for people to give a correct answer.

I have a couple of buddies that have aftermarket pipes on their 600 rr. One has a jardine that sounds decent, but doesnt fit that great under the seat. Another has the yosh rs-5, it looks and sounds ten times better. I dont know if either really improved performance.

I have a 2007 CBR 600RR......Yoshy RC-5 (carbon) Fits under the tail like a dream and sounds wicked....Also have a buddy with a Jardine which is a cheap noise maker, but not a good fitter.....However not much HP gains with a slip-on or full system on a 600.....I put a Power Commander III and a K&N air filter on as well......made the front end a little lighter. There are too many pipes to choose from....Find one that sounds good and fits good....KR tuned has a good lookin carbon pipe but haven't heard it.....That Yoshy is the best looking and fitting pipe I could find....Spent hours on the Net. Have 1200 Km on that pipe and it is twice as loud now......Love it !! Go Yoshy , you wont be dissapointed Good luck man !

So here's a question for the CBR God and everyone else. I bought a 2007 CBR600 last weekend. Love the bike but hate the fender. What's a good fender eliminator for this bike? The undertail exhaust and below the pipe tail light seems like it will make it tough.
Any thoughts?

COMPETITION WERKES.......07 600rr LTD eliminator kit, then to get rid of all the plastic and stock brake and signals, im using GYB PRODUCTS "VERSA-LIGHT" an all integrated led light that includes running light, brake, and signals. it mounts directly to your license plate bolts and requires simple electrical work and looks sick! check out both web pages.
