This thrilled me to death that I finally drug a part of my body today while riding some curvy mountain rodes on my 954. Only thing is though, shoundnt my knee hit before my toe slider should?

I did the same thing my first time on a track. You probably planted your feet on the pegs as you do when you normally ride, but for turns where you have to get low, your feet should be more closer to the bike on the pegs. Hope that helps

No, your knee shouldn't neccessarily drag prior to your boot. In most cases it you should keep your knees set against the bike. With your boot, be sure and when riding aggressively, be on the balls of your feet, and like Dave R6 says, keep 'em close to the bike.
