As the title states...I need a little guidance to see if either of these bikes are to much for a first bike...I have never rode before and want to start...I'm already signed up for the MSF course but after it's done i'm kind of ready 2 make a purchase.

The only reason I'm asking about those bikes is because those are the only ones I could find for sale in my area...I could not and did not come across any used Kawasaki Ninja 500R's(first choice), Ducati Monster 695, or SV650s.

As this being a first bike I am also only wiling to buy the bike used as opposed to new...If either bike in the title is to much for a first bike I'd be willing to wait it out until I can find a used Kawasaki Ninja 500R's(first choice), Ducati Monster 695, or SV650s.

Thanks for any help.

Search harder!
Don't settle for a Bike to start out on that may be too powerful for your own sense of ablilities, just because it is the only thing there!!!!
Not sure where you are in the Country, or where you are looking, however Craig's List is the Ultimate Used Bike Market.
