Any club racers out there care to give a opinion on tire choice for a 08' Kawasaki Ninja 250R used for novice club racing?

I'm not a club racer and have no information for you; however, I'm interested in what options I have for the street. As far as I can tell the Bridgestone Battalax bias tire is the only real option. Is someone going to come out with a radial option?
