Hey everyone I just joined this site. I bought a 2007 GSXR 600 in Sept. of 06' on my 19th birthday. I'm finally adding on to it so it can be faster. Aside from the pipe, power commander, and K&N air filter...what more can I do to hop it up? Everyone tells me to go and buy a bigger bike, but I love everything about the 600. My dad has a CBR 1000 RR, it's a fun bike, but it just doesn't fit me right. If anyone has advice it would be greatly appreciated. Josh

First, get yourself an RK quick acceleration kit (one tooth smaller sprocket in the front and 2 teeth bigger sprocket in the back). This will make your bike way quicker off the line and is fairly cheap. Also there's things you can do to make your bike lighter such as aftermarket rims (not cheap), removing the rear fender kit, removing passenger pegs etc...Also if you practice shifting without using your clutch it can make you a faster rider. I would stick with the 600 for now, I ride an 06 and I love it. The 600 will do anything you ask it to as long as you know how to ask it. Better tires can make you a faster rider also because they inspire confidence and trust in your bike's traction. The Michelin pilot powers are awesome as well as the Pirelli diablo corsas.

spend money on yourself & go to a track school, learn how to ride your bike to it's potential (inside the track). investing in yourself to improve your skills is the best investment decision you'll make......period.
