im looking to buy a 08 gsxr-600 and this will be my first bike and will take motorcycle classes.i've been driving for 20 years or so and not got any tickets for 8 years.would my bike insurance be high since i will be a new rider eventhough i have a clean dmv records driving my car?

Most companies go by the cc's of the bike. I have an 2007 gsxr 1000 and pay twenty bucks per month for full coverage. best to use the same company you have auto insurance through they usually give you a cheaper rate.  Plus also depends on your area where you live.

it depends on a lot, age, credit, accidents, tickets.  i got state farm i'm 21 and drive an 02 gsxr 1000, have 700+ credit and no tickets or accidents and still pay 56 a month, she said when i turn 25 it goes down to about 25-35$ a month
