Either i just found the right broker or motorcycle insurance is a scam. At age 25 and male and with a fresh speeding ticket that i just let stay on my license. full coverage for 53 a month on a brand new kawi zx6r in the state of california. I had one broker tell me to buy a scooter haha. So i dont see how it can from you cant afford insurance to yea here 53 dollars a month. The level of danger is no diff on a scooter or a motorcyle, you are more likey to be run over on a underpowered scooter than you are on a sportbike ?  motorcycle insurance = *** and we all know insurance brokers are no diff than car salesman. Ithink about 600 a year is about average anymore than that you are getting played.

Insurance is definitely a racket, not just auto but all types. I mentioned in my first post about an accident I had last year, well my insurance carrier was Foremost whom I had been using for a few years and was very happy with. They were great to work with and gave me no problems what so ever. I even put my new bike on the policy and finished out the year with the same contract. This year when it was time to renew they wanted $1,650.00 for the same policy that had been $500 before. I understand that they were trying to recoup some of there loss but over three times the original price?

AAA beat out a ton of other insurance companies... I had quotes from most other big name companies that were in the THOUSANDS! And I get all the towing benefits and such with them    Hopefully  I wont ever need them.

02 gixxer 1000, full coverage, 500 deductable, age 21, not tickets/accidents, and good credit, state farm 630 a year in North Dakota (pay by month because in winter i can drop it to comp only then that takes $380 off when i take collision off when its stored all winter)

95 cbr 600 f3 = $255
93 ninja 600E 365 (owned this b4 i was 21 and the cbr after 21 is the reason for higher rate.)
