Im almost 19 and ive love motorcycles since i can remember always rode them as a kid. race motocross for alittle while, a 125 lol rite be4 the 4 strokes started kicken everyones ***. I've thought alot about it an i got my heart set on a gsxr 600 i cant see my self riding a katana or a bike with a bench seat on it. Its for me an only me. i want it to be my ride to work an school rain or shine. just want to get some opinions on whether or not im being stubborn to the idea of a smaller bike or unrealistic to be my ride everywhere.

i'd look into the lines of more of a sport standard. examples like an ex500, fz6 or similar. something that is sporty enough but not a full blown weapon. it will make you a better rider in the long run. avoid the dumb "you'll out grow it to fast" advice. straight line speed is nothing compared to being able work a bike through the corners properly. once you outgrow the chassis and suspension on sport standard, either upgrade it or switch to slightly older supersport.
