There is no doubt numerous choices when it comes down to sport bike tires.  I have had the factory Battlax 014 tires on my 06 GSXR 600 and it is time to upgrade for next season.

My question is, which is the best High Performance sport bike tire that offers everything a weekend rider would need plus the comfort of knowing he can have an occasional track day event?

Lemme know!

If you are used to the Bridgestone try the same brand of tire on the track which would be the Bt-002 they are more track oriented, Tires boil down to what you are most confident with. If you are confident with the Bridgestone ? stay with them especially if you want to do track time, they give you the most confidence on the track. The flip side of the coin is if you want too experiment with tires that is a given choice? Do all the research you can before you make a tire switch, because they will probably require some suspension changes due to the tire configuration itself. I would suggest stick with the brand you started with till you have more experience then you can opt too try another tire brand
