I am new to the sportbike world, and I am wondering if there is a better device to provide handles for my passenger. Is there some type of belt I can put on that gives her handles? Or handles built in to a jacket? The new bikes have such a huge elevation difference between the seats that simply "hugging" the rider is no longer an option. Thanks.

Any info? I ride an 07 600RR. If there isn't a mouse trap out there such as what I described in the earlier post, I am going to seriously look at an FJR.

there should be a strap on the rear seat toward the front. that is what it is for even though i use it for my hat or whatever if i dont have my seat cowl on. when i go 2-up, i usually have the passenger brace with the tank. the elevation difference is because the fact it is a SS bike. SS bike is a race ready bike. if you are more for riding 2-up than riding twisties then maybe a SS bike doesnt fit you, just my .02
