My 2007 CBR 600rr that has 2600 miles on it, for a 2005 CBR 1000rr with 5000 miles on it, I would about break even on this deal. Wondering how good the 05 1000cbr is, because I know that the 06 cbr 600rr was pretty crappy when compared to the 07.
Any help or opinions wanted!

not sure how smart that other person is but of course three years in the bike world will make a huge difference to a bike that sometimes can mean two model changes already i have an 05 600rr and there is nothing crappy about it compared to the 07 and ive passed quit a few on mine the bike fits the rider dont go jumping onto a liter bike just cuz youve riden your 600 around for a couple miles make sure youre really ready for that change first otherwise ill be passing you soon

How about a Suzuki GSX 750. Great bikes and a good deal faster than the 600s but smaller , lighter, less expensive and for you would be something different than a Honda. Nothing against Honda just Suzuki is the only one out there selling 750s. I have always though that was a perfect size engine. Just a thought!

I would say wait a little bit for the '08 CBR1000RR's. I saw some pictures and they look awesome. a lot better than the current 1000. If it was only for the '05, I would say keep the '07 600.
