Motorcycle helmet help

I'm shopping for a new helmet. I narrowed it down between a kbc or a scorpion. Both fit good and both are in my price range. Don't know which one to get don't know which one's a better brand. Excellent ventilation is a HUGE factor (live in AZ)! Any input or advice would be much appreciated.

Dollar for dollar, I'd have to recommend the Scorpion. The KBC may vent just a bit better, but probably won't be put together as well. Just to confuse issues, Shark also makes an awesome sub-$200 lid that looks/feels like one of their $400 lids.

I currently have a SHOEI RF1000 "SHIFTE" model. I absolutley love it! It has been the best purchase I have made in a long time. However, if you are on a budget (I paid $400 for the SHOEI) then I would suggest a Z1R over the two you mentioned. They are reasonably priced, and I have read good things about them. I plan on purchasing one for a back up. Good luck!
