i noticed in the photo of the young couple crashing in the corner that they were on the yellow line.
if the yellow line where they live is like
the yellow lines here in louisiana they are made of ground up glass to reflect in headlights at night. they are very slick.
i have expereinced slipage at speed when crossing this line in a corner. my friends have also.
i just wanted everyone to know it may not be on all roads some are maintained by the state some by the federal government
safe riding to everyone

Yeah I saw that set of photo's also(makes me feel for the couple about the riding gear issue....been there...done that...was stupid....won't do it again). I know that the lines here are the same way(MI) and also watch out for the tar snakes. They are slick when hot, cold, wet, dry and any other condition you could think of.

I think i saw the same photo(but not sure), and it is tragic. but thats just one of way too many reason to wear all the gear all the time.
