I had a 2005 suzuki gs500f was super nice! but just autgrew it this will be my second bike and I'd like to get this right! please someone give me some hints on which is the better bike here, the only thing that makes is the decision hard is I know they re did the ninjas.. is it worth it? thanks in advance!

I'd look for reviews of both bikes first and see if you come across anything worth noting. Is it comfortable, is it buzzy, stuff like that. Then I’d go sit on both and see which one felt right to me. What to you makes one bike better than another? Streetablity or all out performance?

Mark --Check out both bikes, read the reviews, talk to owners, sit on 'em both. Try to find a dealer that will let you test ride them if possible---shouldn't be a problem since you've got some street time in -- it AMAZES me that so few dealers allow demos,so you may have to call a bit to find one who does.
Honestly, the only way you get this one wrong is to not buy what you want. I know it sounds wishy-washy, but they're both great bikes, you just need to determine which on works best for you.

I rode an '07 ZX6R at a track day last month. Awesome bike!! The power delivery was way better than my 636. The handling made my bike feel like it was underwater. The seat position was a little more aggressive feeling than my bike(btw it's an '06 636), but it was a blast to ride around Barber's!!
