I dont think i would call the MV just an updated 916. I dont think i will ever consider the 916 dated, to me that bike is still georgous. The side mirrors and turn signals on all bikes take something away from the design. I realize there necessary but they still always seem to look out of place

I know I come off as an opinionated SOB. But hey I'm not trying to be politically correct here. I'm just describing how I feel about a particular bike's design. Different strokes for different folks. Please do not become overly defensive about my opinions, they are just that.

opinions are great. if we all agreed on every subject life would be boring and there would be no differences in bikes, cars or anything else for that matter. long live Freedom of Speech! personally i find both the MV bikes and the Ducati's a little over-priced. I feel its the same as buying nike's vs walmart shoes. my $30 walmart boots do me just as good as my buddy's $90 dr. martens. and my walmarts last longer. any how. my opinion.

Sorry to hear about your misery dude. I almost felt what your feeling a few weeks ago. Pulled onto the street I live on, and three guys were uncovering my bike, pick up backed to the front wheel. I rammed my '97 Nissan Altima into the front of their truck. You shoulda seen the look on their faces... still makes me laugh. Any ways, they went to jail, I gotta pay to fix their truck, but I still have my bike, only now it's locked up in a steel building I had put up on my property.Oh yeah, when those airbags deploy,... it hurts.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Unfortunately those cretin scums will be back at it soon after they are released from jail.
The only solution to this epidemic is to sue these monkeys in a court of law and make it unprofitable for them to continue to steal bikes.
Posting their pictures on a website especially designed to document the faces and names of these monkeys should also help.
Sorry to hear that you have to pay for the repair of their truck and your own vehicle as well. If I was you, I would take them to court and let a judge decide who needs to pay whom. What about your lost time from work, etc...... A good attorney should help you put a wrench in these monkeys' monkey business and keep them from creating other victims. But if you don't have time, I understand.
Thank you for posting your experience for us honest sportbikers and exsportbikers. Knowledge is the first step towards a solution.
