funny story

My friend and I were going for a late night ride. In Chicago, the express lanes just opened up so we got on had a perfect open rode. so I took off after a couple of miles I glanced at the side marror and seen these flashing blue lights (chicago police only have blue lights on the cars)Im going the top speed on my bike. Witch is 95 mph since its only a 500 cc. but its fast enougth to get a ticket and not be able to get away. so I slow down a little. when that car got a little closer I noticed That it was not a police car but a dam reg. car with blue head lights that are the same color as police lights. my marrors shake a little on my buell witch made it look like they were flashing way back. I went from being scared to releaved to mad in just about a min.

One time I got pulled over, I didn't even give the trooper time to turn his lights on. I passed him, saw him, knew he saw me, so I just pulled over. I already had my helmet off on the side of the road before he even got up behind me and stopped his cruiser.
He was impressed with that, so he knocked about 60mph off of my 'performance award'. Wrote me for a 70 in a 55.
I got it knocked down to an 'improper equipment'. The DA was in a good mood that day.

haha... i would think the blue headlights would be illegal to avoid such confusions... i think ill be safe from most tickets because i now work for the State's attorney haha :P  

the same thing has happened to me many many times before  

cops around here will hit you with everything they got (blue red flashers, spotlight, mic) so theres no confusion
