Don't get me wrong.... I don't put a lot of stock in magazine comparisons where "all these bikes are great but we like this one" but it makes me wonder when a year old design literbike is chosen over 3 redesigned and improved literbikes. And a its little brother wins in its class over redesigned bikes as well as new bikes that seemingly hand it it's a$$ in every conceivable department. Strange.
But I like what I like and suppose everybody else does too. No affirmation required.

Well... the last couple of years when Cycle World picked the ZX-10 over the GSXR, a lot of readers wrote in to tell them how crazy they were, since practically the entire world of motorcycle magazines choose the new Suzuki. Cycle World responded to that by giving the Kawasaki the Master Bike award as well. And gave the 636 the middle class honors. So it wasn't a bit surprising when they picked the new Ninja this year in thier liter bike shootout. So when Sportrider picked the unchanged GSXR-1000.... I kind of just said to myself... 'ok. That figures.' And then another Suzuki for the middleweight choice... I guess that kind of figures too.
You are right, AT. This post has absolutely no point.

Isn't the GSX-R600 and -750 new for 2006?
As for the GSX-R1000... well, that thing still gets the business done...
