Got a stupid question again.

I just bought a pair of riding pants and they seem to fit fine but are they suppose to go up really high past my waist? I mean we're talking like halfway up my stomach here. I guess it would make sense if I were to go down I would have some back up protection beyond my jacket but dang!  

Some pants, Mossi for example, have integrated lower back

support/hip padding. This type of pant will of course ride

high. As long as your knee/shin guards are in the right

place when on the bike...
