Battery won't hold charge

I own a 1998 Honda CBR 1100. Battery was not charging so I replace the battery, stater and the rectafyer. And now the stater is bad again, and it will not hold a charge. I don't understand what the problem is. Can someone help please Thanks

Could there be a fault with the wiring? A short, bad ground or something along those lines?

This is where the service manual comes in. There should be a rundown of how to track electrical/charging system faults.
I would start simple- put a voltmeter on the battery and see what the voltage is with the bike running and also at 5,000 rpm. Should be high 13 to low 14 volts.
Do this when the bike is cold and just started. And then do this with the bike running after it's been ridden.
I've experienced rectifiers that are fine when cold but go haywire when warm.
If you are sure the battery and the rectifier are working properly, something else is not right.

I had the same problem with a new ST-3 Ducati. It was the main fuse right by the battery.
