Hey, Members!  Hope you all have been riding safely.  I wanted to ask you if you could post a list of all motorcycles between the 600 and 750 series that have underseated exhaust systems?  I really like the motorcycles that have the underseated exhaust systems but I trying to find one that looks similar to the Yamaha R1.  The R1 has the look that I want but it is a 1000 and is much expensive for me, so I have to look in other places.

I agree with you the R1 has the hottest looking underseat exhaust on the market but on the 600 series bike your not going to find one that looks like that. Reason being is the R1 has the two pipes and the 600's with an underseat only have one. I suppose with some modification you can get any bike to look that way but not out of the box. I think of the "big four" only Honda and Kawasaki have underseat on their 600's and Yamaha and Suzuki opted to go with a short side pipe. I'm kind of partial to the R6's exhaust but that's to be expected.

Happy Hunting.

Another bike with an underseat is the Triumph 675.  I don't like underseat exhausts, but I am really, really liking the Triumph.

If you are looking for an aftermarket exhaust, the underseats are much more expensive than the traditional side mount.

Thank you BrandonR6 and 2005TiZX10R.  You both really have helped out a lot.  I'm kind of digging the triumph 675 photo because it almost resembles a yamaha r1 in the front.
Members, please continue to post your thoughts, opinions, and advice on this topic.

There really aren't many options for underseat exhausts in the 600-750cc range...  CBR600RR, ZX-6R, ZX-6RR, and Triumph 675.

You may want to google hotbodies.  I know they make underseat exhausts for the GSXR1000....  Maybe they do for an R6, GSXR600/750??

Hotbodies has a tendency to melt your tailsection and the passengers asses i hear. Personally I don't want to have melted ass on my bike...really hard to clean . Ixil makes some pretty cool undertail exhaust. I'm a fan of high mounts myself

You All have been great with your replies.  Absolutely helpful.  Tell me, out of these bikes which may be the faster one.  honda CBR600RR, kawasaki ZX-6R, kawasaki ZX-6RR, and daytona Triumph 675.

The one with the faster rider on it would be the fastest one.

In all seriousness, there ain't no such thing as a dog of a sportbike these days. They're all so good, it takes near-race level speeds to get an appreciation for the minutiae and nit picky differences between them.

Pick the bike that speaks to you. One that you can't stop riding and that makes you glance over your shoulder while walking away from it after you parked it.

Thanks, TEvo for this reply.  I should be more smarter when choosing a bike.  I mean, it's a motorcycle.  They all are fast and I choose whatever bike I'm diggin'.

What no yamaha? I am highly disappointed in you. No I had to remind my self that you are looking for underseat. It's okay man as long as you're riding.

Chris, trade me your 10R straight up for my S111, then trade the S111 in for your D675.
Everybody wins!!

I'm partial to the Honda, but you def gotta get rid of the stock can, it's massive, Thor shoulda used it instead of his hammer. The R6 is pretty sweet, I didn't like the shorty can at first but I'm startin to see a lot of GP-esque cans for them that have started to sway that opinion.

I have the '06 Daytona 675 and I put the Jardine undertail exhaust on and it really opens up the look of the back tire. Most exhaust manufacturers make an undertail exhaust for most new bikes. They are more expensive and generate more heat for the rear passenger.
