looking for a track

i have been riding consistantly for 4 years now. Soon i will be moving to the Mineapolis Minisota area and am wondering if anyone knows if there are any tracks to go to around there.

Or if anyone knows of a web site to look for practice tracks on.

I live in the 'burbs of the twin cities and there's not much. BIR and MAM are the only real racetracks around, but there are a few other options. Dakota County Tech College has riding course (www.ridingcourse.com) that I've haven't done yet (first time will be this july) but it's supposed to be great.

Hey Corner Junkie, have you ever done any track days at BIR?  I live about 2 hours from BIR in the southeast part of ND and I think BIR is the only race track within a million miles of here.  

I thought BIR was still closed and not offering track days

or schools... would be cool if up-and-running again.

There is always Road America-RA lists sportbike days on 7

June and 13-14 Aug. Long drive, even for you Metro dudes.  

BIR is still doing club racing (CRA-mn.com) and is doing track days, but only like 2 all summer(trackaddix.com)

919- I haven't done a trackday there yet, but hope to this summer. The forum I mentioned a couple posts ago has people going to almost every event around, check it out and you'll probably find some folks to go with if you're new to the whole track thing.
